Prior to the conception process, all spirit-souls go through a review
process with their team of spiritual advisors, who are also aspects
of God. Each spirit-soul reviews what has been learned up to this
point in its spiritual evolution to return to the full understanding
of the God source. The spirit-soul then decides if it wishes to experience
another journey on Earth as a human being.
As a human-being-about-to-be,
a spirit-soul may choose to participate in specific activities that
will allow it to experience and move closer to self-mastery of emotions.
The spirit-soul agrees to support the expanding consciousness of God.
Once these activities have been determined, the spirit-soul, out of
trust and faith in God, enters into a covenant with God concerning
these choices. Most spirit-souls also agree to forget the details
of the covenant, including those choices concerning their transition
into and life in human form.
We agree to forget
the details of the covenant because we need to be retested on the
issue of trust and faith in God. If we had already gained spiritual
evolution from a certain experience, there would be no need or purpose
for the lesson again in this new life. This entire process is about
free will choice and the process of co-creation. Most everything that
you do or experience in human form results from free will. But there
are also actions and experiences that come from the pre-forged and
forgotten covenant with God.
If you choose to focus
your attention mainly on the experiences you are creating or on those
you allow others to create for you, you miss the total concept of
choice. Choice is more than creating or submitting to an experience.
Sometimes, what's more important are the choices you make about how
you will deal with the experience, as well as the emotions it makes
possible for you to explore. This is part of your evolution process.
Your faith and trust in the divine source and divine opportunities
will help you to stay on your spiritual path.
There are no mistakes
in this process; there are only experiences. An example is rain. The
rain you experience is neither good nor bad. It is just rain. If there
is a drought, we perceive the rain as good. If we had a picnic planned,
or if there is a flood, we perceive the rain as bad. But the rain
is not about rain. It's about how we choose to respond to the experience
that the rain makes possible.
